If someone you love has died, this little prayer is for you.

For the ones we love,

as we lay them to rest in the soil of this good earth, help us to let go.

Help us to trust in the unseen and feel the invisible as it plants new seed beneath our feet.

Help us to know the Holy and sacred as they carry us through.

Draw us close to the thin, shimmering veil.

Help us to reach out our hands and touch the miracle of light piercing the dark.

Help us curl up in the safety of these things as we say goodbye.
