Cancer has been my side hustle for the last 10 years with four out of five immediate family members being diagnosed with the disease. I lost my beautiful dad in 2015 and while he was sick, my courageous mum was diagnosed with cancer. Seven years later, my dear brother was diagnosed with aggressive brain cancer and just four months after he died, I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. For this and other reasons, my work tends to explore what it is to live with fear, but walk in peace.
